Merino Wool Garments
A few years back I discovered merino wool as my favourite material for cycling and camping. In fact most of the tops I will take on an outdoors trip will have some wool content.
Icebreaker
My Icebreaker GT 200 long sleeve top was an amazing purchase. It is still in a great condition an I wear it regularly for my bicycle commute. One stripy jumper I bought is just not so much to my liking design wise. But I do stuff it in my pack as overnight wear for cold days.
All in all I am really impressed with this brand and I intend to buy more from them or replace items over time.
Wiggle’s dhb brand
I had bought a cycling bib from them and was impressed with the quality. The Merino sold under the dhb brand is a completely different story. Just after a few washes both tops that I had bought had holes or bigger tears in them. Even if they seem more reasonably priced, in my opinion they are not worth the money.
